Bahama Bay is a luxury Resort within a Gated Community with 24 hour security, offering upscale Florida living.  It is an impressive development which echoes the architecture of the Bahamas and is fully landscaped, nestling on the shores of Lake Davenport. It seems quiet and distant but yet its just 10 minutes drive to Walt Disney World and 30 minutes from Universal Studios. 

 

Our ground floor apartment hosts a fully-equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms (one King, one Queen and one Twin) two bathrooms (one en suite to Master Bedroom), 2 private screened patios (one off Master Bedroom) and spacious living and dining areas; it also has cable TVs, DVD and CD players, as well as a washing machine, tumble dryer, a microwave and coffee machine. All bed linens and towels are provided and a room cleaning service is available if required.

We are situated in a quiet part of the Resort by the Lakeside Pool and Jacuzzi, which also encompasses a Pagoda (where the Wedding Ceremonies take place), Cabanas (on the beach), a fishing dock and Volleyball net.  Mambos, the poolside bar and grille, is also located here - perfect for a cooled refreshing drink whilst lounging by the pool!  Tradewinds Restaurant is also here, as is Flip Flops, the place for Ice Creams etc!  The Nature Trail is close by too - a perfect way to start your day is to walk round the nature trail whilst watching the sun rise and the hot air balloons overhead.
